Terms of Service
How to use the house.
French and Faith offers this site so you can learn French through Scripture. Using the site means you accept these terms.
01
The house
French & Faith is a teaching house published by Kingbo Holdings OÜ, an Estonian company to be formed in 2027. Hervé Onanga Kingbo answers for the company. French and Faith is the name of the house. It is not a church, not a seminary, and not a substitute for your own congregation. The notes on a verse are teaching. They are not pastoral care, legal advice, or a promise about an exam.
Scripture on the site is Louis Segond 1910, which is in the public domain. The English line under a verse is a learner gloss by the house, not a new translation. Last updated 3 October 2026.
02
What is free
The public pages, including Begin, the blog, the Year, and the Welcome Wallet, are offered free. We may change, pause, or retire a page. A free page is not a contract that it will stay in the same form.
03
What you can pay for
Membership on this site is one month only: Member at $7, or Fellow at $15, paid with PayPal. It does not renew. When the month is over, it is over, unless you choose another month or join the room on Patreon.
A membership that renews is billed by Patreon, under Patreon’s terms. A live lesson is booked on Preply, under Preply’s terms. This site does not invoice those, and it never asks for a card number.
If PayPal does not complete, nothing has been bought. If a completed month was not delivered as described, write to hello@frenchandfaith.org within 14 days and we will make it right or refund that month. Refunds for Patreon or Preply follow those services.
04
Your part
Use the site for study. Do not break it, scrape it in order to republish the house as your own, or send a note that harasses a person. Do not present a learner gloss as an official Bible translation.
A note you send is an email. Do not put in it anything you would not want in an ordinary inbox. We may decline a public argument and point back to the verse.
05
The work, and the limit
The design, the lesson text, and the glosses belong to French and Faith, except for the public-domain Scripture. You may keep a verse card for your own study. You may not sell the house’s format or text as if it were yours.
The site is offered as it stands. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise that every page will be uninterrupted. Where the law allows a limit, our responsibility for a paid month is limited to the amount you paid French and Faith for that month. Where the law does not allow that limit, the law leads.
If something is wrong, write to hello@frenchandfaith.org first. These terms may be updated by posting a new date on this page. The new date applies from then on.
