What we keep, and what we do not.

This policy is for French & Faith, at this website. Write to hello@frenchandfaith.org if you want a copy of a note we still have, a correction, or a deletion.

Last updated 3 October 2026.

The forms on Begin, Contact, and Membership ask for a name, an email, and sometimes a short note. Submitting saves the address and the page it came from, so the house can write back. The name and the note are not stored on the server.

If you choose Begin, the browser may remember a local mark so the page knows you already asked. That mark is only on your device. It does not contain your name or email. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.

A one-month Member pass ($7) or Fellow pass ($15) is paid through PayPal. PayPal processes the payment. We receive the result PayPal sends us: that an order for French and Faith was approved, the amount, and the order reference. We never ask for a card number, and we do not store one.

A month that renews is collected on Patreon, not here. A lesson is booked on Preply, not here. Those sites have their own policies, and what you give them is not held by this house.

We do not sell personal information. We do not build an advertising profile. There is no account to sign into on this site. We do not run our own analytics cookies.

The host that serves the pages may keep ordinary server logs, such as a time and an address, so the site can stay up. We do not use those logs to write to you.

The house is for learners who can write to us themselves. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep a child’s information. If a note from a child reaches the inbox, write us and we will delete it.

Links to YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Facebook, Patreon, Preply, and PayPal leave this site. Their rules apply once you are there.
