French & Faith

About

A repeated promise, kept on a quiet week.

French & Faith teaches French through the Bible so learners grow in language and in faith at the same time.

A person walking away on a quiet street, a book in hand
The work is small on purpose

Why this exists

A language project becomes a house when the format can be repeated without the founder improvising every morning. French & Faith copies that architecture, not someone else’s content.

French & Faith began in 2025. The purpose is to teach French through Scripture, in order to evangelize and to preach the gospel through teaching. A learner hears living French and meets the text at the same time. The street interview is not the container. Scripture is.

This site is the public house: library, wallet, year, and the door. Paid one-to-one lessons remain on Preply, at the end of this page.

Values, used as filters

Faith
The text is handled with reverence. No verse as bait. No mockery of another tradition.
Excellence
A piece ships when a stranger could learn one thing from it. Audio clean, subtitles accurate, pages quiet.
Clarity
One idea at a time. Beginner-safe French. English beside it when the learner needs a handrail.
Hospitality
A shy beginner is never made to feel stupid. The correction is about the sentence, not the person.
Diversity
The house is built to hold many languages and many faces. The emblem does not belong to France alone.
Stewardship
What cannot be repeated is suspect. One format, kept well, is more generous than a new idea every Monday.

What the house is

  • A teaching house

French & Faith is a teaching house for French and Scripture, and the verse goes back to your own people.

  • The Bible is the text

We teach language with the Bible as the body of text, not a doctrine course.

  • French for a believer’s life

The house keeps greetings, the table, and the church door, and leaves tourist French.

  • Not an off-platform school
